Narrator: My name is Kara Stephensen and I am passionate about dogs.
My passion for animals and dogs continued when I got hired full time to work for an animal talent agency.
Most of the dogs Eric and I have now are rescue dogs. We also do a lot of fostering at our house.
Having something to take care of and something depending on me is still really, really important to me.
The most number of dogs I’ve ever had, probably 18.
In order to live in our house, you have to be a snuggle lover. They really are members of my family. Our dogs have the run of the house. I also don’t want to live in a house where I can’t have a carpet.
When you have a lot of dogs, inevitably they are going to drag in a lot of dirt and mud and grime from the outside. I just grab my Stainmaster.
It really only takes a couple of minutes and I can get back to my life and the dogs can get back to having fun.
I really love having dogs be a big part of my life. It’s made me who I am.
